my first day
Today i arrived 30 min early but i did’nt go immediatly to waitrose,i walked around because it was too early!!!! but abdi was there 20min early(good boy!!!).
Anyway, today we didn’t work a lot it was just about ”the session training” :we watched around 20videos which showed us some rules and how we have to act as employee of a food shop. After the session training she gave us our uniform:it’s very ugly and very big with me(only abdi knows!!!)
At 2.00pm we had done a real job.They call it “recovering”,we had to put the items in the front of the shelves in the purpose of customers can see them proprely. Today a customer ask me a question:he wanted to know the price of a pack of 4 cans…..of course i didn’t know but i thaught about what nicci told us(i am really sorry,i don’t know the price but i am going to find out for you)!!it was really helpful and that customer was happy he said me “it is very nice from you”
After that we went again to the training room and our supervisor gave us an exercise:we had to find out some informations about waitrose on asking to our partner(other employee) and after that exercise our first day was finished!!
Tomorrow we are going to do a real job and i am looking forward that!!!
Everybody was very friendly and helpful….it was a lovely day(except the uniform!!)
